As Senior Writer, I write, concept, and create ads, campaigns, and brands for the many different companies that live under the Nelnet umbrella of brands. I lead, supervise, and attempt to inspire the copy team, including copy review, concepting, and learning opportunities. I also act as the social media head for Nelnet's various brands, creating strategies, promotional opportunities and day-to-day content management.

Created and executed social strategy and campaigns for a variety of B2B and B2C clients, as well as leading the agency's social media efforts. I devised content, SEO strategies, and user experience for B2B, premium consumer and medical specialty websites, as well as creating tactics for email marketing campaigns. In addition to digital content, I also created traditional print pieces, including out-of-home, brochures, posters, and direct mail.

Downtown Vision, Inc. is a not-for-profit funded by property owners in the Downtown Jacksonville area. Multiple Facebook and Twitter profiles and other social media platforms were utilized to spread brand awareness and to engage and educate consumers about Downtown Jacksonville and events. Social media strategies, contests and campaigns enticed people to the Downtown and increased visitors to the area. Additional responsibilities included managing and maintaining the organization's website, including playing an instrumental role in the rebuilding of the current site. General oversight of the website called for frequent reassessment of the end user experience, as well as refreshing and creating content that would increase SEO and effectively communicate the goals and activities of the organization.
